SEI Strengthens Position in International through Strategic Partnerships with Henko Energy
Bandung (19/06/2025) — PT Surya Energi Indotama officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Henko Energy (Pty) Ltd, an energy company from South Africa, in order to strengthen collaboration in the renewable energy sector, especially solar power.
The signing, which took place at the SEI office, was carried out by the Acting Director of Marketing and Business Development of SEI, Khanestyo, and the Executive Director of Henko Energy, Dawid De Vries. This partnership is the first step in the strategic synergy of the two companies in encouraging the use of clean energy globally.
This collaboration is motivated by the plan to implement and develop the solar power generation market in South Africa, while also reflecting the seriousness of both parties in responding to the challenges of the energy transition.
Not only that, this initiative also strengthens bilateral relations between Indonesia and South Africa, especially in the fields of sustainable energy and environmentally friendly technological innovation.
By combining the strengths of each other's technology, resources, and expertise, SEI and Henko Energy are optimistic that this partnership will pave the way for long-term collaboration that has a real impact, both technically, economically, as well as socially and environmentally.
This collaboration is a manifestation of SEI commitment to play an active role in global solutions to energy challenges and the climate crisis, while strengthening Indonesia's position in the renewable energy sector on the international stage.
