SEI Solar Trip: The Sensation of Exploring Solar Panels
Bandung (08/03/24), as a Renewable Energy company, PT Surya Energi Indotama (SEI) held an education trip program entitled SELOTIP – SEI Solar Trip. Carrying the theme Exploring the fun side of media communication, SEI invites you to explore the company's products that have been installed, especially in the Bandung city area.
The first route to be visited is the Alun-Alun Bandung area, where in the area a Solar Panel application in the form of a Solar Tree or solar-powered tree has been installed which functions to light up the park and can also support the aesthetic side for open spaces and the Solar Power Saung which can function as a place to take shelter and charge electronic devices. SEI President Director, I Made Sandika Dwiantara explained that the two solar panel applications are very suitable to be installed in the Alun-Alun area as a supporting facility for the facilities provided by the Bandung City Government, "SEI also supports the program of the Bandung City Government, especially related to public facilities, one of which is the Solar Tree product which has been installed as many as two units and Saung Tenaga Surya which has been installed a total of ten units spread across the Tegalega Park area, the Dalam Kaum area, Alun Alun and the Cikapundung area."
Recognized by the Head of the Parks and Decoration Development Section of the Bandung City Housing and Settlement Service, Dwi Priyono, that SEI's contribution has contributed to the success of the Bandung Caang Baranang program and of course his party hopes that the public facilities that SEI has built can be maintained together so that the benefits can be felt by the community considering that the location where the Solar Tree and Saung Tenaga Surya are installed is in the center of the city center.
SEI presented a different product application display by inviting the SEI Solar Trip group to see the Rooftop PLTS application with a capacity of 158 kWp in the Bandung Mineral, Coal and Geothermal Resources Center (PSDMBP) office building. "This Solar Rooftop application is one of the PLTS applications installed on the roof of an office building, with a larger capacity and also complex in terms of technical installation when compared to Solar Rooftop for residential. The Solar Rooftop owned by the PSDMBP office has been installed since 2016 and with easy maintenance, this system functions well and is able to provide significant savings for the company," explained the Director of Engineering and Operations, Fajar Miftahul Falah.
Explained by the Head of the Center for Mineral, Coal and Geothermal Resources, Ir. Agung Pribadi, with the installation of Solar Rooftop SEI, his party can save monthly electricity bills of up to 20-30% from normal bills before the Solar Rooftop was installed.
This travel route ends at the Solar Panel production building located in SEI's parent company, PT Len Industri (Persero). In this production area, SEI is able to produce a capacity of 71 MWp/Year.
With more than 20 years of experience, SEI solar panel manufacturing has been certified nationally and internationally and not only that, SEI products have met the SNI 61215 standard as a mandatory requirement for solar panels to be distributed in Indonesia or IEC 61215 and 61730 which support the safety, design and safety testing aspects.**

SEI – ITB Collaboration Improves Domestic HR Competence and Talent
Bandung (06/03/24), realizing the support between companies and academics, especially to improve the competence and talent of domestic Human Resources (HR), PT Surya Energi Indotama (SEI) collaborates with the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Bandung Institute of Technology (FTI ITB) to organize education, research, business-based studies of the company, etc.

Located at the Benny Subianto Building, Faculty of Industrial Engineering, Jalan Ganesa area number 10, the Director of Engineering and Operations of PT Surya Energi Indotama, Fajar Miftahul Falah signed a cooperation agreement with the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering, Bandung Institute of Technology, Prof. Brian Yuliarto, Ph.D.
The purpose of signing this MoA is focused on utilizing all resources owned by both parties in order to accelerate the achievement of the company's and academics' vision and mission. "The signing of this MoA is an important moment of a number of forms of cooperation between SEI and ITB that have been established for a long time as a manifestation of triple helix cooperation between the government, universities, and the private sector. It is hoped that this MoA can produce forms of mutually constructive cooperation between the two parties in project planning, technology development and increasing HR competency in the field of renewable energy," said Fajar Miftahul Falah, Director of Engineering and Operations of SEI.
Similar to what Fajar said, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering ITB, Prof. Brian Yuliarto., Ph.D added that his party is opening up opportunities for cooperation with SEI as widely as possible, always fully supporting the company's role considering that the renewable energy business is currently a need with high urgency, which in addition to having an impact on the welfare of society also has a positive impact on creating a green earth.**

Surprise, Father of Indonesian Marketing Visits SEI
Bandung (4/3/24), a special guest visited the SEI office, a figure known as the Father of Indonesian Marketing, Hermawan Kartajaya, who is also the founder and chairman of MCorp, a well-known company in the marketing sector.
Hermawan's arrival was enthusiastically welcomed by the SEI board of directors, namely President Director I Made Sandika Dwiantara, Marketing and Business Development Director Ridwan Kurnia, Technical and Operations Director Fajar Miftahul Falah including the entire SEI family.
Hermawan Kartajaya is an inspiring figure, his name is included in the list of "50 Teachers Who Shape the Future of Marketing" by the Chartered Institute of Marketing England, along with the world's number one marketing figure, Philip Kotler. Hermawan, who has dedicated his life to the world of marketing, has successfully launched best-selling books and for his work he has won the Lifetime Achievement in Marketing Award from Jawa Pos and also from the Marketing Institute of Singapore (MIS).
During his visit to SEI, Hermawan felt that SEI was like a second home to him, especially when the group was invited to tour the company building area that has implemented solar hybrid system technology as one of the company's advantages. In addition, they also had the opportunity to see modern and environmentally friendly office facilities.
The experience sharing session was the main highlight of the moment, Hermawan Kartajaya humbly shared his insights on the world of marketing with all SEI employees who were present. This sharing session provided inspiration and new insights for employees about the latest strategies and trends in the world of marketing, as well as how to apply them in the context of the renewable energy industry.

Warmth Radiates on TVRI and Kompas Group Jabar, When SEI Visits to Strengthen Family Ties

First Time Participating in DEFEND ID Quiz Competition, SEI Wins Champion
Subang (05/02/24), HSE DEFEND ID successfully held the Defend Id Quiz competition as a series of activities to commemorate the K3 month. This activity was attended by members of Holding Defend Id, namely PT Len Industri (Persero), PT Dahana, PT Pindad, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, PT PAL Indonesia including subsidiaries and grandchildren of PT Len Industri (Persero) namely PT Surya Energi Indotama (SEI), PT Len Railway Systems (LRS), and PT Len Telekomunikasi Indonesia (LTI).
The Defend Id Quiz activity took place lively and became its own color with the presence of all participants who were a combination of Holding Defend Id members, cheers of enthusiasm resounded from the Auditorium Room of PT Dahana (Persero), which is located in the Subang Area. The event was opened with remarks from Dadan Munawar as VP EMC DAHANA and Faishol Nasrul as General Manager HSE PT Len Industri (Persero). In this activity, representatives of the UPTD Manpower Supervision Region II of the West Java Provincial Manpower Office also acted as judges, who of course played an important role in ensuring that the competition ran according to standards and provided the expected results.
Appearing stunningly, the SEI team represented by Rangga Damas (IT), Wishnu Wijayanto (Engineer), and Dimas Rizky (NOC) managed to compete with other participants in the match using the Lower and Upper Bracket scheme. The match that lasted almost a full day was fierce until finally the Sei Team managed to win second place in this competition, alongside the host PT Dahana who won first place and PT PAL Indonesia who won third place.
Not only competing, this activity was held as a gathering event to strengthen relations between DEFEND ID members and of course this event also increased the participants' insight and knowledge about K3 (Occupational Safety and Health). With the support of various companies and related parties, DEFEND ID continues to strive to create a safe and healthy work environment for all its members.

Building Commitment with Partners: SEI Successfully Holds Vendor Gathering
In an effort to build solid cooperation with partners or company vendors, SEI held its first Vendor Gathering held at the Mercure Hotel in Bandung City.
Carrying the theme "Growth, Trust and Commit Together", this event successfully brought together around 74 vendors from various sectors who have collaborated with SEI.
The presence of vendors representing various sectors such as electrical materials, cables, pyranometers, batteries, panels, modules, aluminum, transformers, inverters, and many more, marks the diversity and closeness that SEI has built so far.
The Vendor Gathering event was attended by the President Director, I Made Sandika Dwiantara, Director of Engineering and Operations, Fajar Miftahul Falah, Acting Manager of Procurement and Warehouse Yudha Nur Wahyu and staff.
In his speech, SEI President Director, I Made Sandika Dwiantara, expressed his appreciation for the cooperation that has been established so far. In the same session, he opened the opportunity for participants to discuss as a form of SEI's commitment to improving the quality of cooperation in the future.
Stepping into the main event, Pjs. Procurement and Warehouse Yudha Nur Wahyu explained in his presentation about SEI's vision and mission and detailed the 2024 work plan that will involve all vendors present. Yudha hopes that through this Vendor Gathering activity, the cooperation that is built will be closer and sustainable in accordance with the theme raised, "Growt, Trust and Commit Together". The spirit of collaboration that continues to grow is expected to bring benefits to both parties and produce better results in the future.

Increase Awareness of Health and Safety, HSE Len Industri Company Commemorates National K3 Month
In order to commemorate the National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) month, HSE Len Industry Company held a series of activities carried out in the environment of the parent company, PT Len Industri (Persero).
Carrying the theme of the 2024 National K3 month, "Cultivate K3, Healthy and Safe at Work, Maintain Business Continuity"., This event was held as a real form of the company in prioritizing work safety and the company's commitment to creating a safe and comfortable environment.
There are many interesting activities that can be followed by the company community such as aerobics, fitness and health checks, safety riding and complete with a bazaar of various healthy foods.
The event which received a positive response from the entire Len Company community was evident from the large number of participants who attended the series of events. The participants who attended were fully aware of the company's efforts to improve employee welfare.
Faisal Nasrul, General Manager of Health Safety Environmental (HSE) PT Len Industri (Persero) hopes that this event to commemorate the National K3 month can raise more awareness, especially related to occupational health and safety from all Len Company entities, "Because by maintaining occupational health and safety, we are sure that this will have a positive impact not only for employees, but also for the productivity and performance of the company as a whole," he said.
Not only concerned about safety in the work environment, Management also pays attention to safety on the road. So it is right that HSE Len Company held a safety riding training session for employees, especially those who use two-wheeled vehicles as a means of daily transportation. Town Hall Meeting Vol 1 2024: Performance Achievements in 2024 and New Formation of SEI 1 Trillion
In an atmosphere full of emotion and enthusiasm, the Town Hall Meeting Vol 1 of 2024 which was held in the SEI lounge witnessed an important moment of farewell to one of the pioneer founders of SEI, Mr. Ir. Petrus Tri Bakti Nurharyadi or often known as Tri Bakti who has entered retirement.
In his long journey, Tri Bakti has made a great contribution to advancing the company. Not to forget, the gratitude was conveyed by SEI employees by giving respect in the form of flowers as a sign of farewell. Also attending were President Director I Made Sandika Dwiantara and other directors who gave awards and souvenirs as a sign of gratitude for his dedication so far.
After the farewell moment, the Town Hall Meeting entered the core session with a presentation of the 2023 achievements and strategic plans for 2024. A series of presentations from all levels of directors provided a comprehensive overview of the company's performance achievements and detailed the leading programs that will be implemented in an effort to achieve the big goal.
In one of his remarks, President Director I Made Sandika Dwiantara expressed his hopes for 2024, namely that 2024 would be a brilliant year for SEI. "Active involvement, loyalty, and cooperation from all employees are expected to be the main keys to the company's success." In the same session, great hopes were embedded in the minds of all Town Hall Meeting participants by giving enthusiastic applause.
The series of events then ended with a question and answer session and prayer. Hoping that all the hard work that we have done in the previous year will be a blessing and become a self-reflection so that in 2024 SEI can achieve maximum performance.
As a form of enthusiasm and shared commitment to achieve great success in the future, the event was closed with the echoing of the cheer, namely "SEI 1 Trillion? Gaspool!"

Supporting EBT-Based Electricity Infrastructure, Made Sandika Elected as APAMSI General Chair
Jakarta (20/12/23), as a form of support for the government to make the Development of New and Renewable Energy (EBT)-based Electricity Infrastructure a success through the Indonesian Solar Module Manufacturers Association or known as APAMSI held a Sharing Session activity entitled National Solar PV Industry Supports Indonesia's Energy Independence and Resilience, which was continued with the holding of the 3rd APAMSI National Conference.
APAMSI is an association of solar module manufacturing companies founded in 2010, with 14 member companies in Indonesia, one of which is PT Len Industri (Persero) with a total production capacity of around 1 Giga Watt Peak per year. The purpose of APAMSI's establishment is to strengthen the national industry, independence and resilience of Indonesian energy, especially in supporting the Development of Electricity Infrastructure in Indonesia.
The event was attended by the Director General of EBTKE of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia, the Director General of ILMATE of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, and the National Energy Council (DEN) as well as government officials and other associations, discussing opportunities for the Solar Energy Industry in providing a significant role including with the direction of national energy policy, national electricity development program, regulations on the use of TKDN products, and strengthening the domestic solar module industry where the role of the Government is an important key to its sustainability.
On that occasion, SEI, which is a subsidiary of Len with a core business in the New and Renewable Energy Sector, was present representing PT Len Industri (Persero). Acting President Director of PT Surya Energi Indotama (SEI), I Made Sandika gave a perfect appearance in explaining the vision and mission, especially in the New Chairperson Election segment in the 3rd Apamsi National Conference, which was ultimately elected as the General Chairperson of APAMSI for the 2024-2027 period, continuing the baton from Linus M. Andor Sijabat who was previously one of the Len Board of Directors.
In his inaugural speech as APAMSI General Chair, Made stated his readiness to build APAMSI to become a superior, solid, reliable, sustainable and trusted national solar module industry in Indonesia. Carrying the 'SIAP' strategy initiative consisting of Aligning Commitments - Stakeholder Integration - Program Acceleration - Ensure Targets, Made is optimistic to improve the Association's ability to support Domestic Industrial Independence. Len Board of Commissioners Reviews Riau Communal PLTS Performance in 2023 Monitoring and Evaluation Activities
Riau (08/12/2023), The Board of Commissioners of PT Len Industri (Persero) conducted a field visit to one of Len Industri's subsidiary projects, namely PT Surya Energi Indotama. Which project is the Riau Communal Solar Power Plant (PLTS) with a capacity of 156 kilowatt peak (kWp) located on Panjang Island. This visit is part of the 2023 Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activities carried out by the Len Board of Commissioners to ensure that the subsidiary's project runs according to plan and the standards that have been set.
This Riau Communal PLTS is the result of a collaboration between PT PLN (Persero), PT Indo Tenaga Hijau, and PT Surya Energi Indotama, where this project is not just a project but has an important role in providing clean and sustainable energy in the Riau region, especially on Panjang Island.
During this field visit, the Board of Commissioners of PT Len Industri (Persero) consisting of Bambang Kusharto, Rindoko Dahono, Helvi Yuni Moraza, and Dean Arlsan were also present. They were accompanied by the Audit Committee Syafrizal Ikram, Budi Hanta, and Aji Aprianto, as well as the Board of Directors of SEI, Acting President Director of SEI I Made Sandika Dwiantara, SEGM Sales, Marketing & Business Development Ridwan Kurnia, and other staff.
On this occasion, the Board of Commissioners gave high appreciation to the Riau Communal PLTS project. They expressed their pride in the successful collaboration between PT PLN (Persero), PT Indo Tenaga Hijau, and PT Surya Energi Indotama in realizing this project. In addition, the Board of Commissioners also emphasized the importance of ongoing efforts in developing renewable energy projects to support environmental sustainability.
This visit was not only limited to monitoring, but also a form of PT Len Industri (Persero)'s commitment to continue contributing to the development of the renewable energy sector in Indonesia.
