SEI Builds Communal Solar Power Plants on Six Remote Islands
Kepri (01/11/23), committed to continuing to contribute to building the country, PT Surya Energi Indotama which is known as a pioneer and trusted company in the field of New Renewable Energy, especially solar energy in Indonesia, had the opportunity to appear as part of the Communal Solar Power Plant (PLTS) Inauguration event in the Riau Islands.
Taking place on Panjang Island, the Communal Solar Power Plant (PLTS) Inauguration event in the Riau Islands was held. Present on the occasion were the Governor of the Riau Islands, H. Answar Ahmad and representatives from the DPRD RI and local officials. Acting President Director of PT Surya Energi Indotama, I Made Sandika was also present on the occasion.
Worked by reliable human resources, SEI acts as an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) Company, setting aside several companies with similar businesses.
The construction of the Communal PLTS in the Riau Islands is a collaboration between SEI and PT Indo Tenaga Hijau and PT PLN (Persero) Riau and Riau Islands Regional Main Unit. The Communal PLTS system built by SEI is spread across 6 areas of the Riau Islands, namely; Geranting Island, Akar Island, Panjang Island, Jaga Island, Nuja Island, and Sebung Island with a total installed system capacity of 776 kWp.
The Communal PLTS installed in the 6 Islands areas were built by implementing 2 systems, namely Off-Grid PLTS and Ground Mounted PLTS. Communal PLTS with Off Grid system is a PLTS that is built by relying on solar energy as the only energy source and is not connected to the operator's electricity network, this Off Grid system is very suitable for application in remote areas, especially those that have not been reached by conventional electricity, in contrast to the Ground Mounted PLTS system, this PLTS is built using special supports to hold the integrated solar modules.
SEI's success in working on this project is expected to be a sustainable project where there are still a number of other points in the Batam Islands that can be opportunities for SEI, "SEI is present as part of the solution and we hope that this project will be the first gateway to success for SEI to establish further cooperation, especially in lighting up other remote islands in the Batam Islands," concluded Made.**

Consistent in improving quality, SEI achieves ISO 14001 & 45001 certification
It was a matter of pride for SEI when it received the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (SML) and ISO 45001 Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) certificates which were handed over directly by the CEO of ACM Indonesia M. Puji Lanang Akbar and the Director of ACM Indonesia Siti Sofiah to the Technical Director And Operations, Fajar Miftahul Falah.

Appointment of Members of the Board of Commissioners of PT Surya Energi Indotama

Officially! SEI Subsidiary Officially Established
Bandung (19/9) – Located in the office area of PT Surya Energi Indotama, the signing of the Deed of Establishment of the Business Entity Implementing the West Lombok Public Street Lighting Government Cooperation Project was carried out. This signing was carried out between PT Surya Energi Indotama and the Consumer Employee Cooperative of PT Len Industri (Persero) which was attended by the Board of Directors of SEI, Acting President Director, I Made Sandika who was accompanied by the Director of Engineering and Operations, Fajar Miftahul Falah along with all the management of the Consumer Employee Cooperative of PT Len Industri Persero, Restu Tri Gustiawan as the Chairperson who was accompanied by Amy Elva and Ilham Nugraha as the management of the Len Employee Cooperative.
The signing of the Deed of Establishment of the Implementing Business Entity (BUP) for the West Lombok Public Street Lighting Government Cooperation Project is a series of SEI being selected as the winner in the Business Entity Procurement Cooperation (KPBU) for the Arrangement and Management of Public Street Lighting (PJU) in West Lombok Regency as many as 12,915 light points.
The agenda of the activity was continued with the ceremonial launching of the logo, a subsidiary of SEI which will focus on the field of Public Street Lighting, especially to support the operational of the above project.
It is official, a subsidiary of SEI named PT Sinar Energi Indonusa or can be abbreviated as SEI Nusa. Headquartered in the Jalan Jendral Sudirman area, Gerung West Lombok, the subsidiary of SEI will carry out the installation and maintenance activities of electrical installations in civil buildings such as highways, railways and special airfields in areas located in West Lombok Regency. The elected Director, Yudistira Priatna and Kurniawan Imam Ghozzali as Commissioner of PT Sinar Energi Indonusa.
The logo was chosen based on the results of a pooling of all SEI employees with a philosophy that depicts a semicircle shape that shows the contour of the different PJU installation areas in one area. "The determination of this logo was chosen by all SEI employees because PT Sinar Energi Indonusa will become an inseparable part of the SEI Family in the future," said Made before the SEI Nusa logo pooling was carried out.
With the signing of the Deed of Establishment of the Implementing Business Entity (BUP) for the West Lombok Public Street Lighting Government Cooperation Project which is the First Unsolicited PJU KPBU in Indonesia, Technical and Operations Director Fajar Miftahul Falah expressed his appreciation in his speech for the entire West Lombok Project BUP Team who had worked optimally so that this process could run faster than expected.
"The formation of the Implementing Business Entity (BUP) in cooperation between SEI and the Consumer Cooperative of PT Len Industri (Persero) Employees is a real manifestation of the Cooperative to always support the business of all Len Company Companies, of course a growing company will have a good impact on the welfare of Employees where employees of Len Company are part of the members of the Karya wan Len Cooperative," added the Chairman of the Len Employee Cooperative, Restu Tri Gustiawan.

Supporting Energy Conservation Program, SEI Works on Thousands of Public Street Lights in West Lombok
Gerung, West Lombok (5/9) – PT Surya Energi Indotama (SEI), one of the members of the Defense Industry Holding (Defend ID) with a core business in Renewable Energy, has made another achievement by being appointed as the winner of the Business Entity Procurement Cooperation (KPBU) for the Arrangement and Management of Public Street Lighting (PJU) in West Lombok Regency with 12,915 light points, including the addition of Solar Powered Street Lighting (PJUTS) units and the process of replacing conventional lamps with energy-saving lamps.
Taking place at the West Lombok Regent's Office, H. Fauzan Khalid as the Person in Charge of the Cooperation Project (PJPK) directly presented the Letter of Award to I Made Sandika Dwiantara as the Acting President Director of PT Surya Energi Indotama. In his speech, Fauzan expressed his appreciation for SEI's performance and commitment in developing the country, especially in the 3T (Underdeveloped, Frontier and Outermost) regions so that his party is confident that SEI can carry out this work as well as possible in accordance with the specified time frame so that the community can immediately feel the benefits, "West Lombok will now be brightly lit," he said.
The Government Cooperation Project with Business Entities (KPBU) for the Procurement of Implementers of the Arrangement and Management of Public Street Lighting (PJU) in West Lombok Regency is the First Unsolicited PJU KPBU in Indonesia.
This PJU KPBU project will begin work in the near future, according to the agreement where the construction period will be carried out within a period of one (1) year and the next ten (10) years are determined as the commercial operation period.
"We will try to provide the best, especially for the Community in West Lombok Regency. The maximum installed Public Street Lighting will certainly have a positive impact on the welfare and economy of the local community. In accordance with the tagline of West Lombok Regency, "Rise and Be Productive for a Steady West Lombok," said Made during the event session.
In its journey, it has been recorded that almost 22,000 points of Solar Street Lighting (PJUTS) have been installed by SEI throughout Indonesia. PJUTS is considered a perfect solution in utilizing pollution-free renewable energy, on the other hand, in its use, this PJUTS can be done independently by maximizing solar energy without operator electricity which is very suitable for the local climate where West Lombok Regency has a variable air temperature between 21˚-34˚ with the highest percentage of sunlight of 82% / year (Source: BMKG). **

SEI’s Excitement Commemorates Indonesia’s Anniversary
The celebration of competitions and entertainment to commemorate the 78th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia was successfully held at PT. Surya Energi Indotama (SEI), Thursday (17/8/2023). This event was attended by the Board of Directors and employees of SEI. Carrying the theme "SEINDEPENDENCE DAY: With the Spirit of Independence, SEI Unites Steps to Realize Togetherness", the festive atmosphere has been felt since the beginning of August where various competitions have begun to be held.
This year's Independence Day commemoration, the first company to carry out a flag ceremony which is usually often held at the parent company, PT Len Industri (Persero), acting as ceremony officers are all structural officials of the company. The ceremony began at 07.30 WIB, acting as the Ceremony Instructor was the Senior Executive General Manager of Sales, Marketing and Business Development, Ridwan Kurnia in the mandate session conveyed his gratitude for the independence of the Indonesian nation. The Indonesian flag-raising procession took place solemnly accompanied by the national anthem followed by the reading of the proclamation text.
Before moving on to the next series of events, a coffee break was held with various types of food and drinks that are identical to "people's snacks" such as bajigur, kue cubit, tahu gejrot, bakso malang, es cendol, etc. which can be enjoyed by employees for free.
Stepping into the peak event which was filled with the celebration of typical "Agustusan" competitions such as krupuk eating races, sack races, tug of war, etc. which were followed enthusiastically by all employees. Management hopes that the implementation of this activity can be a means of solidifying SEI employees.

SEI Sharing Session with Recipients of Overseas Scholarships Indonesia Maju
Bandung (02/08) – As part of the Overseas Undergraduate Preparation Program activities from the Advanced Indonesia Scholarship (BIM) organized by the National Achievement Center (PUSPRESNAS) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, where the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics - Bandung Institute of Technology (STEI ITB) became one of the hosts of the Summer Program, PT Surya Energi Indotama was chosen as one of the places to conduct an industrial visit.
This industrial visit was attended by fifteen selected high school graduates from all over Indonesia with the visit agenda in the form of a sharing session related to competencies in the field of Electrical Engineering and engineering activities carried out in the company. In addition, participants can also directly observe the products produced by SEI and tour the company.
The sharing session was guided by the Acting Manager of SEI Corporate Secretary, Muhamad Dedi Leman, complete with speakers delivered by Kharisma Surya Gautama as the Acting General Manager of Engineering who provided knowledge about SEI products and product implementation complete with experience during completing projects, especially in underdeveloped areas.

Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Cooperates with SEI for SOLAR PV Training
Bandung (2/8) – Located at PT Len Industri (Persero) which is the parent company of PT Surya Energi Indotama, the group from the Center for Human Resource Development for Electricity, New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (PPSDM KEBTKE) of the Human Resource Development Agency (BPSDM) of the Ministry of Energy and Human Resources (ESDM) was received by the Director of Engineering and Operations, Fajar Miftahul Falah and his staff. On that occasion, the Coordinator of the program, Cooperation, evaluation and quality assurance as the leader of the group, Hertiyo explained the intent and purpose of his arrival. In his remarks, he conveyed several Ministry programs that could be followed up by SEI, namely the Southern Triangular Cooperation, where SEI was appointed as a Renewable Energy Company with reliable human resources to be able to contribute in providing Solar Photovoltaic training in African countries, namely Namibia, Mozambique, Sudan, Senegal and Tanzania. This training is planned to be held in Turkey with materials covering the planning, installation, operation maintenance and management of Solar PV Power Plant with a duration of five (5) days. Of course, SEI welcomes this opportunity for cooperation which will be scheduled again to visit the SEI office building in the near future.**

SEI Present at Low Carbon Zone Booth in IPA Convex 2023
Jakarta (25/7) – The Indonesia Petroleum Association Conference and Exhibition (IPA Convex) is one of the international scale exhibition events that PT Surya Energi Indotama also participated in. Taking place at ICE – BSD Tangerang from 25 – 27 July 2023, SEI also joined the booth with the Indonesian Renewable Energy Society (METI) in the Low Carbon Zone area, which is a collection of companies that contribute to the development of carbon emissions.
Carrying the theme "Enabling Oil & Gas Investment and Energy Transition for Energy Security", IPA ConvEx is not only present in the exhibition but also complete with a series of training events, seminars and workshops that raise the theme of energy transition and energy security in the future.
