National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Month, HSE PT Len Industry Company Holds Safety Riding Event

Bandung (03/02/2025) – To commemorate National K3 Month 2025, Health, Safety & Environment Len Industri Company held a Safety Riding event which took place at the head office of PT Len Industri (Persero), Bandung. This event was attended by General Manager Health Safety & Environment PT Len Industri (Persero), Moiko Sivatino, Part & Accessories Dept Head, Dodi Sofian, Safety Riding Center Instructor PT DAM Amizar Maas and staff.

In his speech, Moiko said that activities like this are very important to strengthen awareness of the importance of road safety. "Safety is our shared responsibility. Through this event, we hope to create a safer work environment and also contribute to road safety," he said.

The event began with a pretest session to measure the extent of participants' knowledge regarding driving safety, especially those related to motorbikes. This initial test is a reference to determine the participants' basic understanding of various aspects of safety, from driving equipment to proper traffic rules. The pretest was followed by the enthusiasm of the participants, which showed their readiness to take part in further briefing and training sessions.

After the pretest, the event continued with a briefing by Amizar, a licensed Safety Riding Center Instructor from PT DAM. In this session, Amizar provided an in-depth explanation of the basic principles of safe driving, as well as techniques that must be applied by riders to reduce the risk of accidents on the highway.

Amizar emphasized the importance of understanding road conditions and vehicle use. "Driving safety is not only about how we ride a motorbike properly but also how we can estimate the situation on the road and prepare ourselves to face all possibilities," Amizar explained to the participants. He also reminded us that the use of appropriate riding equipment, such as helmets, and elbow and knee protectors, is very important to reduce the impact if an accident occurs.

Basic Braking Simulation

After the theoretical material, participants were immediately sent to the field to take part in a practical session guided by Amizar and other instructors. One of the simulations carried out was a basic braking demonstration at a speed of 40 km/hour for two-wheeled automatic and sports vehicles. In this simulation, participants are asked to brake with the correct technique so that the vehicle can stop safely at the right distance.

This activity aims to hone the technical skills of participants so that they can be more alert and responsive in dealing with sudden situations on the highway. The participants seemed enthusiastic about following the instructions and tried to practice the braking techniques that had been taught as well as possible.

After the entire series of materials and practices were completed, the event was closed with a post-test to measure the extent to which participants understood the material that had been presented. This test also serves as an evaluation for the organizers, to see how effective this activity is in improving participants' knowledge and skills in driving safely.

Additional Services: Free Motorcycle Service

As part of its support for driving safety, Honda also provides free motorcycle service for 3 consecutive days for PT Len Industri Company employees starting from February 3-5, 2025. This service aims to ensure that vehicles used in driving activities remain in prime condition and safe.

This Safety Riding event is expected to provide more in-depth knowledge and skills regarding safe and comfortable driving techniques for all participants. In addition, this activity also aims to build a culture of road safety, especially for motorcyclists.

PT Surya Energi Indotama Holds RUPS and Approves RKAP 2025 with Subsidiary of PT Len Industri (Persero)

Jakarta (01/30/2025) – PT Surya Energi Indotama (SEI) held a General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) to ratify the 2025 Company Work Plan and Budget (RKAP). This event was held with PT Len Industri (Persero) subsidiaries, including PT Len Railways System, PT Len Telekomunikasi Indonesia, and PT Eltran Indonesia. The meeting was held at the Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta, which was attended by the Board of Directors and staff of PT Len Industri (Persero), as well as the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors and staff of PT Surya Energi Indotama.

The event began with remarks and a brief presentation from the President Director of PT Surya Energi Indotama, I Made Sandika Dwiantara. On this occasion, he conveyed the Company's performance as well as the company's main theme and targets for the 2025 RKAP, namely "Level Up With Digital Transformation." SEI Successfully Builds Floating Solar Power Plant at Riam Kanan Hydroelectric Power Plant, South Kalimantan

Banjar (01/21/2025): PT Surya Energi Indotama (SEI) has again achieved success in developing renewable energy in Indonesia. In collaboration with PLN Indonesia Power and PT PLN Geothermal Indonesia, SEI acted as an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) company to complete the Floating Solar Power Plant (PLTS) project at Riam Kanan Hydroelectric Power Plant, South Kalimantan, with an installed capacity of 361.92 kWp.

The electrical energy generated by the PLTS is currently used for the PLTA's internal needs, especially for the self-use transformer at the Riam Kanan Hydroelectric Power Plant unit.

"This PLTS is our real step in supporting the energy efficiency program and the use of renewable energy in the PLTA environment, and for now we will use it for the transformer in our unit," said Bayu Herjunadi, Team Leader of Maintenance of UP PLTA/D Gunung Bamega, when interviewed at the project location.

Furthermore, Muhammad Ilyas Asayuti, SEI Project Manager said that the implementation of this project presented new challenges for SEI, especially at the installation stage which requires high technical expertise and careful planning. However, SEI overcame these obstacles by prioritizing high work standards and innovation in the implementation process.

"This project is quite challenging, especially during the installation of anchor lowering, because it requires special techniques, but thank God everything was resolved thanks to teamwork and high work standards and the innovations we created," he said.

With this training, operators are expected to be able to run PLTS operations independently and optimally for the long term. SEI Board of Commissioners Visits Solar Ice Maker & Cold Storage in Bangka Belitung

Bangka Belitung (09/01/2025) – The Board of Commissioners of PT Surya Energi Indotama (SEI) conducted a working visit to the Solar Ice Maker & Cold Storage project located in Sadai Village, Tukak Sadai District, South Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands. This visit is part of the 2025 Site Visit activities carried out to ensure that the project is running according to plan and the standards that have been set.

During the visit, the Board of Commissioners of PT Surya Energi Indotama consisting of Hammam Riza, Senda Hurmuzan Kanam, and Syahrial was also present. Bandung (17/12/24), Closing the series of PT Surya Energi Indotama's 17th anniversary which carried the theme KOLABORASEI - Collaboration for SEI. SEI and the SEIKAWAN community held the SEI HIJAUKAN EARTH program, which is a follow-up to collecting plant seeds as a replacement for flower arrangements that are usually done during celebrations as congratulations.

This time, the company engaged in renewable energy inaugurated a Solar Ice Maker & Cold Storage in Sadai Village, South Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands which was carried out in a hybrid manner by SEI's President Director, I Made Sandika Dwiantara.

The Ice Maker, which has a production capacity of up to 20 tons of ice per day, was built to improve the welfare of fishermen in Sadai Village. With this facility, fishermen can store their sea catch in a fresher and more durable condition. Prevent Fires, SEI Holds Fire Simulation

Bandung (10/31/2024) – In order to ensure the equalization of knowledge regarding emergency response during fires and work accidents in the office environment, SEI held an In House Training on Occupational Health and Safety (K3) and fire simulations. The activity which took place at the SEI office for 2 days was attended by representatives of SEI employees.

On the first day's agenda, participants were given knowledge about first aid for work accidents guided by Hery Munandar from PMI Bandung City. Participants were trained on how to handle injuries such as broken bones, cardiac arrest, and victim evacuation. Hery emphasized the importance of a deep understanding of quick actions that can save lives in emergency situations.

Not only that, participants were also given basic knowledge about fires starting from types, tools, handling methods and rescue techniques in the event of a fire which were delivered directly by Totoy, Sugiantoro, and the team from the Bandung city fire department.

The fire simulation was the culmination of this activity, which involved the entire company community. The emergency response team swiftly gave a positive response to the incident from the fire simulation, starting from the firefighting team, evacuation team and first aid team. The implementation of this fire simulation is a realization of the training that has been given to be applied in the company environment.

"With this training, we hope that employees have good knowledge and understanding of the risks of accidents at work, especially fires. SEI Provides Training on Solar PV System Operation & Maintenance for 5 African Countries

Bandung (25/10/2024) – In order to support the implementation of the Annex G20 Leader Declaration, PT Surya Energi Indotama (SEI) together with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Center for Human Resource Development for Electricity, New, Renewable Energy, and Energy Conservation (PPSDM KEBTKE) has conducted competency improvement training in the field of solar energy. This activity took place in two countries, namely Turkey and Indonesia, which was attended by five participating countries from the African region, namely Namibia, Mozambique, Senegal, Tanzania, and Sudan.

The training aims to strengthen the capacity and knowledge of participants about renewable energy technology, especially solar energy, which is increasingly important in the current era of climate change. In this training, Eric Agustian as Technology Analyst and Riza Ramadhan, from the Operation & Maintenance function provided an in-depth understanding of the Operation & Maintenance of solar PV systems.

Participants not only gain knowledge delivered theoretically, but are also equipped with direct practice in the field so that participants can understand activities ranging from operating and maintaining solar PV systems, so that they can apply the knowledge gained in their respective countries.

Positive response from the entire group for the opportunity to learn from the experiences and best practices shared by SEI. They hope that this training can help their countries in developing solar energy potential and contribute to reducing carbon emissions and increasing access to clean energy.
