Commitment to Digitalisation, SEI Launches New E-Office Feature and ERP Closing Ceremony
Bandung (07/31/2025) - After more than a year of partnering on the ERP re-implementation project, SEI, together with IT consulting firm PT Asia Global Solusi (AGS), officially concluded the series through the Go-Live & Project Closing Ceremony for the ERP held at SEI's office.
This event marked a significant moment for SEI as it signified the full handover of operational control of the ERP system from AGS to SEI's internal team. Present at the event were SEI's President Director, I Made Sandika Dwiantara; Director of Finance, Risk Management, and HR, Yuntoro Prakoso Wibowo; along with other structural officials. From AGS, present were AGS's Marketing Director, Felix Niode; AGS Project Manager, Eddy; and their team.
In his speech, the President Director of SEI, I Made Sandika Dwiantara, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the cooperation and assistance provided by AGS during the implementation process. He also emphasised that the success of this project reflects the company's seriousness in moving towards digitalisation. Re-implementasi ERP ini adalah bentuk nyata dari komitmen SEI dalam melakukan transformasi digital di seluruh lini bisnis,” ujarnya.
In response to this, AGS Management, Felix Niode, stated that the success of this project is the result of cross-functional collaboration within the company, especially the support from top management levels.

The closure of this project also marks that SEI now has full control over the ERP system, which was previously still under monitoring and assistance by the AGS team.

On the same occasion, Yoga Aradea, the ERP Team Coordinator of SEI and the Manager of the Information System, officially announced the launch of SEI Office's latest feature. The presence of the SEI Office complements the ERP system, which not only presents data in the form of numbers but also displays it visually in a more informative and easily understandable way for users.
Yoga explains some of the main features of SEI OFFICE, including: Project Dashboard, Project Planning Dashboard, Tender Calendar, Risk Management, Company Documents, Events & Activities (for meeting room reservations), Operational Vehicles (for official vehicle reservations).
Yoga added that the launch of SEI OFFICE, along with the closing of the ERP project, is a symbol of the company's success in adopting digital transformation.

SEI start Town Hall Meeting Chapter II: “Together, We Own the Vision”
Bandung (07/28/2025) — SEI successfully held its second chapter Town Hall Meeting of the year as part of the company's regular agenda. Under the theme “Together, We Own the Vision,” this event served as a platform to strengthen communication between management and all employees and to emphasise the importance of collaboration in realising the shared vision.
The theme presented in this town hall reflects SEI's commitment to building an inclusive and collaborative corporate culture, where the company's vision is not only owned by a select few, but every entity within the company plays an important role in realising that vision.
The event was attended by all members of the Board of Directors, who directly delivered presentations regarding the company's performance, strategy, and development direction. The first session was opened by the President Director of SEI, I Made Sandika Dwiantara, who presented an executive summary of the company's performance during the first half of 2025. The material covered new contract achievements and the company's revenue growth, which was explained comprehensively to all participants.
The session was continued by the Director of Marketing and Business Development, Khanestyo, who delivered an analysis of sales performance, projections for performance until the end of 2025, and the direction of SEI's business transformation focused on sustainability through the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) principles. He also reviewed strategic ESG-based business opportunities that SEI has begun to explore through collaborations with business partners who share a similar vision.
Next, the Director of Engineering and Operations, Ridwan Kurnia, outlined operational strategies to improve project execution performance, including accelerating the implementation of existing projects, strengthening procurement and logistics, optimising resources, intensifying cross-functional coordination, and actively utilising project monitoring systems.
The presentation session was closed by the Director of Finance, Risk Management, and Human Resources, Yuntoro Prakoso Wibowo, who delivered the company's financial performance report, including aspects of HR management as part of the foundation for a sustainable company.
Employees' enthusiasm for this event was evident from the numerous questions asked of the Board of Directors, especially regarding SEI's future strategies and growth opportunities. All questions were answered openly and thoroughly, demonstrating the company's commitment to transparency and synergy. The event concluded with a joint prayer and hopes that the spirit of collaboration will continue to strengthen SEI's steps in facing future challenges.

SEI Collaborates with UNDIP in Providing Environmentally Friendly Clean Water
Semarang (7/22/2025) – SEI has officially partnered with the Jepara Campus Management Agency (BPKJ) of Diponegoro University (Undip) in developing portable desalination technology based on Solar Power Plants (PLTS). This collaboration was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by SEI President Director, I Made Sandika Dwiantara, and the Head of BPKJ Undip, I Nyoman Widiasa.
This collaboration is a follow-up to the previous MoU between PT Len Industri (Persero) as the parent company of SEI and Diponegoro University, focusing on the development of human resource competencies in education, research, and community service.
Through this collaboration, SEI and Undip jointly take on roles in the development, testing, and implementation of a portable desalination system powered by solar energy. This technology is expected to become an environmentally friendly solution for providing clean water, especially in remote, coastal, and drought-prone areas.
This cooperation agreement is valid for the next three years, with the possibility of further development. The scope of the collaboration includes the design process, laboratory and field testing, technical training, and the joint launch of the innovative technology results.
Moving forward, it is hoped that this collaboration will not only provide clean water solutions based on renewable energy but also strengthen the collaboration between the industrial world and academia, as well as create a broader social impact for the community, especially in improving access to sustainable clean water and raising awareness of the importance of environmental conservation in every aspect of daily life.

Strengthen the Quality and Competitiveness of Clean Energy Projects, SEI Establishes Partnerships with State-Owned Enterprises in the Surveying Industry
Jakarta - As a commitment to support the utilisation of New Renewable Energy (EBT) and to improve the quality of the company's operational governance, SEI has established a strategic partnership with PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero). The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was held in Jakarta. It was conducted in person by SEI's Director of Marketing and Business Development, Khanestyo, and the Chief Operating Officer of PT IDSurvey (Persero), Andry Tandjaja.
This cooperation includes the provision of testing, inspection, certification, consulting, and classification services aimed at supporting business activities and strengthening SEI's operations in the renewable energy sector and sustainable energy conservation.
PT Inspeksi Sertifikasi dan Survey Indonesia (PT ID Survey), as the Holding Company for State-Owned Enterprises in Survey Services, consisting of PT BKI (Persero), PT SUCOFINDO (Persero), and PT Surveyor Indonesia (Persero), operates in the fields of Testing, Inspection, Consulting, Classification, and Statutory Services. Through this collaboration, SEI and IDSurvey are committed to establishing mutually beneficial partnerships in accordance with their respective business areas and authorities.
The signing of this MoU also marks the initial step in the collaboration between the two national entities to strengthen the quality and competitiveness of clean energy projects in Indonesia. This partnership is designed to last for the next two years, with a flexible scope that allows for future development.
This strategic partnership can accelerate the implementation of higher-quality standards in the development of renewable energy infrastructure in Indonesia, support the achievement of national energy mix targets, and realise project governance aligned with sustainability principles (ESG).

East Region EBT Project Synergy: SEI and Len Conduct a Monitoring and Evaluation Review
Kupang (07/17/2025) – The Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors, and Committees of PT Len Industri (Persero) conducted a working visit to the Oelpuah Kupang IPP Solar Power Plant project located in Bajaenaka Hamlet, Oelpuah Village, Kupang Central District, Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. This visit is part of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities for the strategic cooperation project between SEI and PLN.
Also present at the visit were representatives from SEI, namely the Director of Technical and Operations, Ridwan Kurnia, and the Director of Marketing and Business Development, Khanestyo.
The activity began with a project presentation session by the SEI Directors to the delegation from Len. In this session, the latest developments of the Kupang Solar Power Plant IPP project were shared, including achievements reached and operational challenges in the field. The discussion was interactive and enthusiastic from both sides, reflecting an open and strategic working relationship between the parent company and the subsidiary.

After the presentation session, the delegation conducted a field visit to assess the condition of the Kupang IPP Solar Power Plant, which has been operational since 2017. During the visit, Len's Board of Commissioners, Arkamelvi Karmani, highlighted the potential for further development, not only in business terms but also in creating positive impacts on the surrounding community.
Seeing the incredible potential of sunlight in this Eastern Indonesia region, I emphasise the importance of encouraging the revitalisation of the solar power plant project and the development of innovative ideas. Hopefully, this project will not only contribute positively to the company's business but also have a direct impact on the surrounding community, Arkamelvi.
In line with this, as the parent company, Len is certainly present to provide support to SEI. This was directly conveyed by Len's Operations Director, Iqbal Fikri.
“We see that the planning carried out by SEI, both in terms of investment, strategic partnerships, and future development plans, will all be fully supported by us (Len). This includes strengthening SEI's long-term planning. The hope is that in the future, SEI will not only focus on the development of solar power plants but also be able to implement ESG principles comprehensively in its business,” Iqbal.
Len's support is reflected in the various achievements and tangible impacts that SEI has successfully produced in the field, as explained by SEI's Director of Technical and Operations, Ridwan Kurnia.
“Sejak proyek ini berdiri, kami telah membukukan berbagai capaian nyata yang selaras dengan prinsip ESG, terutama melalui pendekatan 5P: people, profit, planet, partnership, dan prosperity. Dampak yang bisa dirasakan langsung oleh masyarakat, mulai dari hadirnya lapangan kerja, akses terhadap air dan lingkungan yang lebih bersih, hingga edukasi yang melampaui sekadar urusan kelistrikan. Yang paling penting, kami memberikan energi bersih bukan hanya untuk warga sekitar proyek, tapi juga untuk masyarakat NTT secara keseluruhan. Hal ini menjadi semangat untuk SEI dalam mendorong percepatan bauran energi terbarukan di Indonesia,” jelas Ridwan.

SEI Maintains ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 Certifications as a Commitment to the Environment and Workplace Safety
Bandung (07/18/2025) – SEI has once again successfully maintained its ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications after undergoing an external audit conducted by AMTIVO at SEI's office. This achievement reflects the company's commitment to implementing sustainable environmental management and fostering a safe and healthy work culture across all operational lines.
This achievement also demonstrates SEI's compliance with international regulations and standards in the fields of environment (ISO 14001:2015) and occupational health and safety (ISO 45001:2018). This strengthens SEI's credibility in the eyes of stakeholders and serves as concrete evidence that SEI continues to improve in pursuit of sustainable performance.
The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) section of SEI, Elyana Febrianti, who is responsible for this certification audit, stated that maintaining this certification is not just about fulfilling audit formalities but also part of SEI's commitment to integrating ISO standards into every business activity.
“Especially in enhancing credibility and reputation in the eyes of the public, serving as a compliance regulation platform, an evaluation for companies to improve themselves, and adding value when companies participate in large tender projects,” revealed Elyana.
He also added that this external audit process is expected to serve as a reflective moment for the company to improve the quality of its work continuously.

Strengthen K3 Culture: HSE and PAM Len Industri Company Conduct Monitoring and Evaluation
Bandung (07/09/2025) - PT Len Industri (Persero), together with its subsidiaries, namely PT Surya Energi Indotama (SEI), PT Len Railway System (LRS), PT Len Rekaprima Semesta, PT Eltran Indonesia, and PT Len Telekomunikasi Indonesia (LTI), gathered in a Monitoring and Evaluation (MONEV) meeting regarding the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Security (PAM) for the second quarter, held at the SEI office.
All parties involved in this event demonstrate a strong commitment to safety culture, occupational health, security, and environmental management. This is evidenced by several steps already implemented by each company's HSE representatives, including:
- Improvement of Occupational Safety and Health Awareness and Discipline: Through training, socialisation, and routine supervision to create a safe and healthy work environment.

Develop Environmentally Friendly Coolers, SEI Collaborates with GIZ
Jakarta (07/03/2025) - SEI officially partners with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GMBH, a German development company, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at supporting contributions to the development of environmentally friendly cooling solutions.
The signing held at the GIZ office was conducted by the Director of Marketing and Business Development of SEI, Khanestyo, and the Commission Manager of the Solar Cold Chain for Green Economy in Indonesia Program (SOCOOL), Frank Stegmueller. GIZ was represented by SOCOOL, a bilateral initiative between the Indonesian government and Germany that supports the achievement of this cooperation's goals.
As part of this collaboration, an environmentally friendly cold storage system will be built and installed at IPB University to support the free nutritious meal program. This project is part of the international Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative involving SEI, GIZ, and IPB University.
SEI contributed 44 solar panels, each with a capacity of 405 Wp, for a total system capacity of 200 kg of cooling per day. The construction of this cold storage is targeted for completion by October 2025. It is expected to be the first step in a long-term collaboration to develop sustainable, environmentally friendly systems in Indonesia.
Through this collaboration, SEI, together with GIZ and all partners, hopes to make a tangible contribution to supporting national food security, reducing carbon emissions from the cooling sector, and expanding the use of renewable energy that directly benefits the community.
Moving forward, this cooperation is expected not only to deliver technical and environmental benefits but also to open opportunities for innovation and the replication of similar projects across various regions in Indonesia, especially areas with high demand for fresh, nutritious food logistics.

RUPS, SEI Receives Recognition for Performance and Governance
Jakarta (June 30, 2025) - PT Surya Energi Indotama (SEI), a subsidiary of PT Len Industri (Persero) and part of DEFEND ID, held its 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM), underscoring its commitment to firm performance and governance. This strategic meeting brought together all DEFEND ID stakeholders.
During the AGM, Acting President Director of PT Surya Energi Indotama, I Made Sandika Dwiantara, who was present alongside other members of the Board of Directors, presented the company's progress and various significant achievements attained throughout 2024.

Furthermore, the Board of Commissioners provided several strategic recommendations, such as accelerating digital transformation, strengthening financial management, and improving overhead cost efficiency, all aimed at supporting the company's sustainability and competitiveness in the future.
