SEI and Len Incorporated Organize Free Mudik Program, Sending Hundreds of Travelers to Sumatra and Java

Bandung (17/03/2026) – PT Surya Energi Indotama (SEI) sent off 500 homebound travelers as part of the 2026 Mudik Bersama program. Carrying the theme "Mudik Aman, Berbagi Harapan, dan Mudik Nyaman Bersama" ("Safe Homecoming, Sharing Hope, and a Comfortable Journey Together"), the initiative was organized by SEI's parent company, PT Len Industri (Persero).

The departure of 10 buses was officially flagged off by the Deputy Governor of West Java, Erwan Setiawan, accompanied by the Director of Technology and Risk Management of PT Len Industri (Persero), Amalia Maya Fitri; SEI's Director of Marketing and Business Development, Khanestyo; and SEI's Director of Finance, Risk Management, and Human Resources, Yuntoro Prakoso Wibowo. The convoy departed simultaneously from Gedung Sate, heading to destinations across Sumatra and Java, including Palembang, Lampung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Solo, and Surabaya.

Held annually ahead of Eid al-Fitr, the program reflects the company's commitment to supporting its employees and the wider community by providing a safe, comfortable, and convenient journey back to their hometowns. The initiative is the result of a collaboration between PT Len Industri (Persero) and its subsidiaries, including SEI, PT Len Railways Systems, PT Eltran Indonesia, and PT Len Telekomunikasi Indonesia, together with various supporting partners.

To ensure a safe and comfortable journey, participants were provided with travel insurance, basic medical supplies, and travel essentials such as T-shirts and hats.

Yuntoro Prakoso Wibowo, SEI's Director of Finance, Human Resources, and Risk Management, expressed his appreciation.

"On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are pleased that SEI can once again facilitate this homecoming journey by providing proper facilities for our participants. We sincerely appreciate the committee and all participants for their cooperation throughout the preparation process. May Allah SWT grant everyone a safe, smooth, and blessed journey to their hometowns," he said.

Deputy Governor Erwan Setiawan also commended the company's continued commitment.

"We appreciate PT Len Industri (Persero) for consistently organizing this annual Mudik Bersama program. This initiative not only helps people return to their hometowns safely but also contributes to reducing traffic congestion during the Eid homecoming season," he said.

Bandung (06/03/2026) - PT Surya Energi Indotama hosted a joint iftar gathering at its office, attended by all SEI employees, representatives from the holding company PT Len Industri (Persero), and children from a local orphanage. The warm and meaningful event served not only as an opportunity to strengthen relationships and foster togetherness but also as a moment for collective reflection to reinforce the company's commitment and align its vision for future growth.

In his opening remarks, SEI's Acting President Director, I Made Sandika, encouraged all employees to make the holy month of Ramadan a time for reflection, both personally and professionally.

"This joint iftar symbolizes our gratitude while reminding us of the values of sincerity, discipline, and hard work embodied in the practice of fasting. The philosophy of abstaining from food and drink teaches us the importance of giving our best effort before achieving success," he said.

The event continued with the presentation of donations to a local orphanage located near the company's office. This initiative reflects SEI's ongoing commitment to creating meaningful value for the surrounding community. Beginning with the communities closest to its operations, SEI aspires to continue expanding its positive social impact.

The gathering was further enlivened by live musical performances featuring Islamic songs. To enrich the spiritual atmosphere of the event, SEI also invited an ustaz to lead employees in the recitation of the Holy Qur'an and a collective prayer.

A variety of authentic Indonesian appetizers, main courses, and desserts were served, creating a warm and welcoming iftar atmosphere. The occasion was filled with laughter, meaningful conversations, and shared joy, further strengthening the sense of unity among employees.

In line with this year's Ramadan 1447 H iftar theme, "Fostering Collaboration Through the Values of Consistency," SEI hopes that the spirit of collaboration, care, and consistency will continue to guide every employee in working together toward a stronger and more sustainable future.

Bandung (02/03/2026) – Amid the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H and the celebration of DEFEND ID's 4th anniversary, SEI took part in the "Ramadhan Berbagi" program as a humanitarian initiative. This activity reflects the company's commitment to implementing its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) program for communities surrounding its operational areas.

Representing SEI's management, Director of Finance, Human Resources, and Risk Management, Yuntoro Prakoso Wibowo, symbolically handed over food packages to representatives of the residents of Pasirluyu Village, Bandung.

The program was carried out simultaneously across the operational areas of DEFEND ID member companies in Bandung, Subang, and Surabaya, with the following distribution:

  • Total assistance from DEFEND ID member companies: 5,606 food packages
  • Total assistance from Len Incorporated: 1,300 food packages

Director of Business and Cooperation at PT Len Industri (Persero), Irwan Ibrahim, emphasized that the program is more than just an annual tradition; it represents a genuine commitment to strengthening the harmonious relationship between the defense industry and the surrounding community.

"Ramadan teaches us that true happiness is found not only in receiving but also in sharing and giving," Irwan said in his opening remarks.

The presence of SEI and the Len Incorporated delegation was warmly welcomed by local authorities. The Head of Pasirluyu Village, Han Hadrian, stated that the community has consistently benefited from the company's support over the past six years.
